    It works on existing products if you set it to featured but not on new product . I tried to add a new product and checked the featured check box it disappeared when I tried to publish 🙁

    So, on creation step it does not save featured, but if you will edit product after it was created and check it as featured – it will save option?

    If it is a new product no matter what you can’t check the featured check box it i will disappear . If you had it before the latest update , it will work which is weird .
    You have my admin now , you can test it as well .

    I just tried to add a product , saved that product . I exited the screen then went to products and checked the featured product and it works .
    So I believe you are right , it is only in the creation step it doesn’t save featured
