Support » Fixing WordPress » Featured Post Widget for All Categories

  • I just transferred my blogger blog to wordpress and am using the Fabric8te child theme. I don’t know much about coding and have about 2 days experience using plugins and widgets and all things wordpress.

My main concern right now is that I am using the Featured Posts Widget on my home page to highlight various areas by category – HOWEVER, my very first featured post box is set to link to “All Categories” – it displays the thumbnail and link for the most recent post, but it will not display the link to the archives for all posts – basically, I want people to be able to pull up my blog and read all the posts from every category scrolling down the page – you know, like a regular blog would look. All of the other featured post sections that are linked to a specific category are working like I want, and I have the settings the same in the widget, but it just doesn’t seem to work the same for “All Categories” vs. “Stitch”, for example. I like the home page with the different navigation options, but how does someone just get the old school – see every post other than going through a search or the archives??

    Here’s my site homepage:

Thank you so much in advance for any help you can provide!!
