# Featured post slider

 * The documentation for Catch Adaptive says;
 * >  To add featured post slider,
    1. Create a Post and then add Featured Image to the Post.
    2. Go to “Appearance -> Customize -> Featured Slider Options” from your WordPress
       Dashboard
    3. Under Featured Slider Type, you need to select “Featured Post Slider”
    4. Then you can change the number of slides and add in Post ID in “Featured Post#”
    5. Finally, click on “Save & Publish”
 * But under “Select Slider Type”, the only options I have are “Featured Page Slider”
   and “Demo Featured Slider”. Where is the option to create a featured post slider?
 * Also, rather than manually inputting post IDs, will the featured post slider 
   work with the [Featured Content](https://jetpack.me/support/featured-content/)
   feature of Jetpack, or a plugin such as [NS Featured Posts](https://wordpress.org/plugins/ns-featured-posts/)?

 * I think you have gone through theme instruction of Catch Adaptive Pro theme, 
   we have only two options ie (“Featured Page Slider” and “Demo Featured Slider)
   for Catch Adaptive Free. If you need Featured Post Slider you need to upgrade
   to Pro Theme.

 * I also confirmed via Twitter that Catch themes do not support Jetpack’s Featured
   Post feature. I hope that will change in the future.
