Hey there jshade77,
How are you doing today?
Not sure what you’ve tried so far from the custom CSS. I’ve tested this on my end and this seems to be working. Please try adding the following CSS code in the style.css file of your child theme or add it in your site using the following plugin:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css
.entry-thumbnail img {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
If the code doesn’t work please keep it added and post link to your site so I can take a look 🙂
Hope this helps 🙂
Cheers,
Bojan
I updated it with that text, but it still isn’t working… http://momstreetstyle.com/
Hey again jshade77,
This is odd, for some reason that code worked on my sandbox site 🙁
Thanks for the link. Please try replacing the provided code with this one:
.entry-thumbnail {
text-align: center;
}
This should make the image centered 🙂
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Bojan
The margin auto code needs element to be block-level to work.
.entry-thumbnail img {
display: block;
margin: 1em auto;
}
Also, please avoid editing theme style.css directly, use Custom CSS plugin instead. See example plugin in Bojan’s first post.
Thanks so much! It worked 🙂
Hi! I have the same problem. I already have the simple custom css and tried all the codes I could find here but they didn’t work.
I use the fashionista theme and this is my site http://thesoberblogger.com/
Hey teiasorroche,
Can you please try adding the following:
img.attachment-thumb-featured.wp-post-image {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
}
This should be the result http://screencast.com/t/99HbTH8VBk. If code is not working please keep it added so I can take a look.
Hope this helps 🙂
Cheers,
Bojan
