Featured Images not showing

Featured images don’t appear on either the blog page or the individual post page. I am using the child theme that came with version 2.1.1 of Tiny Framework; I have made no alterations.

No active plugins. The posts are from the themedemos package.

Please advise. Thx.

Then a couple more questions:

1. Is the default header image enabled? For Featured images to work there should be some kind of default header image uploaded and active.

2. Image to be displayed in the header should be at least 960px wide.

The bee and flower image is being displayed in the header.

I just tested fresh theme and it works on my server, I’m not sure how I could help you. If you want, you can email me with your site login info, so I could test. Email is in readme.txt.

Last time another user had this problem, he was using Jetpack with Photon activated. Photon is known to have this bug that prevents featured images working.

I’m running this on an XAMPP test platform, so it has not been published and I can’t send you a link. As I mentioned, I am not using Jetpack (or any other plugin) at this time). Puzzling.

I guess the last resort test is to install Twenty Eleven theme and see if it works, because Tiny Framework uses the part from it. For Twenty Eleven image should be at least 1000px wide.

That means it is something wrong with your local server install, I would try using free version of Desktop Server:
