Featured image won't show up

Hi there,

I recently updated my wordpress to 3.5 and after doing a new post i noticed that while the post seemed to be fine the homepage wouldn’t show the featured image. You can see this at http://www.GastroChef.org (The website). I have read through countless websites but nothing seems to work. The featured category is also now showing up in the site title. If anyone can offer some help i would greatly appreciate it.
