Featured Image Trouble – CSS/Post help

  • The featured image function works as it should on my site:

When you arrive at the homepage, each post is showcased with a featured image and an excerpt of the full post. When you click on either the title or image the full post opens up which also contains the featured image.

Occasionally I want to be able to use a featured image, but not have it show up in the full post…. is that possible?

My site is http://www.cur-mudg-eon.com and the post in question is the most recent one titled “Confucius Says…”. This will give you a visual representation of what I’m trying to accomplish.

I’m not sure if this is something that can be accomplished with CSS or HTML, or if it’s beyond both.

It’s very likely “possible” but would likely require some coding knowledge. But unfortunately, that theme is not released under GPL — so it won’t be supported here per forum policy. You might consider finding another theme that is in keeping with WP philosophy and policy — all the themes on this site’s repository do so:
