Featured Image Size Inconsistent on Laptop

    Hello,

    All of my featured images appear good on both a laptop and a mobile. However, on a laptop, some of the featured images appear larger than most others – in a way to push the post title out of the fold.

    I verified the image sizes. Images that extend beyond the laptop screen are smaller than those that fit in nicely ‘above the fold’ (displays image, category name, and post title).

    Could you please suggest to troubleshoot this issue?

    Update with screenshots of the problem description.

    Post 1: Mobile view [featured image truncates along the borders]
    Post 1: Laptop View [Post title does not appear in ‘Above the fold’ view]
    Post 2: Mobile view [featured image stretches nicely to the device edges]
    Post 2: Laptop View [Post title appears ‘Above the fold’]

    Desired outcome: All posts (featured images) should look consistent – preferably like post 2. Could you please suggest ways to fix this?

    Update: Image size is the problem. I tinkered with a few (before uploading) and it gives the desired result. Closing this thread.

    PS: Ideally, the theme should resize the larger images for consistency of display. I noticed the new theme version (1.1.1) adds a feature (line 117 of readme.txt– support for Smarter Featured Images). Not sure whether its intended to deal with a similar scenario.
