Hi – if you look at the end of this page I’ve got feedwind bringing in blog posts from my other site fuz.co.uk (I am testing for scrolling news with a pic, so its a work-around!!) – on that site I set the featured image in wordpress (theme is Divi btw), rather than placing it in the post, so your lovely plugin is working great if I don’t then have any images in the post, if I do – it picks up that rather than the featured image. Is there a work-around? Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Your feed is okay–I think it’s actually something in how Feedwind makes its decision on what image to use. When I went to their site to build the widget, I looked over the settings. Under “Style”, there is a setting for “Thumbnail selection” which is set to Auto by default. It doesn’t explain how it chooses an image based on auto, but it could be related to image size and prefer a larger image over a smaller image (I suggest this because I see you’re using the WordPress thumbnail for your feed featured image, which is fine, but some sites/systems will want to use larger images if they’re available).

I changed that setting to “First image” and the widget preview updated to show your proper featured image. So my thought would be to update your Feedwind widget code and replace what you have and it should be correct. Hope that helps!
