THere may have been a caching issue with Facebook and Twitter that caused the share not to show correctly the first time.
I know we’re meant to create a new thread but this is exactly what we’re experiencing as well, all appears well in the FB debugger but the link preview is always missing, same when we try to share via a product page, the image never appears.

For what it’s worth, I did a bit of checking myself and it appears this is a bigger problem than first anticipated, a problem I’m a tad surprised that AIOSEO don’t already know about. There is a bug report on Facebook about this issue which does appear to affecting a considerable number of people, indeed it appears no matter which site I myself go to and try sharing to FB, the same issue happens so it’s not actually an AIOSEO problem, more a FB problem but it’s still a massive problem which I don’t see getting fixed anytime soon by FB if I’m honest.
How others are still able to share and see the image is beyond me, only thing I can assume is it’s either browser or FB cache, but hopefully if anyone else is facing the same issue then rest assured it very much appears to be a FB issue, how, when and if it get’s fixed is another problem entirely!.
We discovered the same problem on LinkedIn this morning.
The fix for us was to edit the blog post on our site, scroll down to the AIOSEO settings, open the “Social” tab, and change the “Image Source” for both Facebook and Twitter to “Featured Image”. Once we did that, the image showed up on the LinkedIn post.
NOTE: LinkedIn caches the post, so you have to delete it and then change the permalink of your post to change the URL, and repost it on LinkedIn.
Well strangely, and unexpectedly without any changes by us, the issue seems to now be resolved. We did update a few plugins, the details of which escape me, but everything is working as expected now so either something has been updated or FB have found the issue themselves and sorted it, either way we’re still pretty much in the dark tbh but it’s working!

please I am currently facing the same issue, I tried all the ways with no luck!!!
I set a default image for both twitter and FB and clear the cash. but when I try to share the link on FB or twitter the images is not shown…
any help would be highly appreciated.
