  • I have two problem on my site that I cannot fix. I’ve combed through all the previous posts here and cannot find an answer so I’m hoping someone can help.
    Here is a link to my site so you can see the problems.

    Issue #1 – The featured image is showing up on the home page not rotated. When you click on the image to go to the post you can see that the image is showing correctly in the Image gallery attached to the post. How can I get it to show the correct rotation on the home page?

    Issue #2 – I would like the slider image on the home page to be centered. Any ideas on how to do that?

    I am using the Pinboard theme and running the latest installment of WordPress. Which incidentally is when the problems with the Featured Image rotation started, before I upgraded the Featured Images were fine.
    Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Your photos look fine to me – photo rotation issue are often due to iOS photos being viewed on a PC? (Not a WP issue, BTW.)

    As to centering the slider, try adding this to your custom CSS:

    #slider {
        display: table;
        margin: 0 auto;

    ok that’s weird about the rotated image, but you are right. I did take the photos with my phone. Oh well, I won’t worry about that much, I’ll just try to remember to take photos for my site with my real camera!

    The code you supplied did center the slider image, but now I think it looks weird with all the white space on either side. I think it needs something on either side or maybe I could move the slider to the header or the sidebar? I don’t know……a little design inspiration and help would be much appreciated!
