Featured image not displayed in posts

    I am starting to create my wordpress site on my dev system.
    I have created a new post and assigned a feature image.

    The image is displayed correctly on the home page, but when I display the post page, the image is not there.

    Is this normal ?
    What do I need to do to get it displaying correctly ?

    Yes, this is normal. Customizr doesn’t show featured images in the post itself, by design.

    If you really want to implement this feature, see this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/featured-images-to-show-in-post but it requires a child theme with a functions.php.

    But if you’re just starting out with a new blog in Customizr, it’s probably best just to accept that this is how it works. If you want the featured image to show, then insert it in the blog post too. If you switch to a theme in the future that does show the featured image inside the post, then it will probably be quite easy to remove it with CSS.
