    Hi please let me know how to set the featured image or main image for the web stories because I am unable to see the featured image of my webstories in the dashboard.

    Hi there

    When you create a story in the editor you can set its featured image under the “Document” tab and also again in a modal that appears right before publishing.

    When you do that, the featured image should also appear on the dashboard.

    Note: we usually refer to a story’s featured image as “poster image”.

    Is there any option so I can use my first story image slide as a poster image or any downloading option?

    There’s no direct option to choose the first page’s image as the poster, since the poster has different size requirements. But you can just choose the exact same image from the WordPress media library and crop it to the right dimensions there.
