# Featured image full width + sidebar

 * Hi, is there any way to make the featured image of blog posts stretch the full
   width of the screen and have the post content and sidebar placed under it? Thanks!

 * Thanks for reaching out to us.
 * There isn’t a built-in option to do this. The featured image is part of the column
   for the content that is beside the sidebar.
 * A workaround you can do is make use of the “Above Content” title section. Then,
   enable the _Use Featured Image for Background?_ option on the design settings.
   This way, there is a section at the top that shows the featured image in full
   width.
