# Featured image

 * Is there a way to not have the featured image on the post? It automatically adds
   itself to the post on the top. Any help is appreciated.

 * Hi there,
 * There are many users requested me an option to remove featured image in single
   posts. I don’t know how I missed it for so long.
 * I will definitely provide an option in next update. Meanwhile, CSS suggested 
   by [@wpjakarta](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wpjakarta/) will work fine.

 * As discussed in previous comment, option to hide featured image has been added
   in theme’s customizer options. Please inform if you need any help with it.
