Featured custom post

    Hey guys,

    I’m a WordPress newbie and just wondering how I can add a Featured post checkbox on all my custom post type add/edit pages?

    I know there are 2 ways of approaching this:
    a) using custom fields
    b) using a category called Featured

    I have 2 custom post types namely Jobs and Noticeboard and I would
    like featured posts of each type to ‘stick’ at the top of their respective pages.
