 * I wanted to have summaries of my posts on my front page instead of full length
articles. So I went to Settings > Reading > And selected For each article in
a feed show SUMMARY. It didn’t work. Not only did it not work, it took my featured
article text off the front page.
 * I went to “edit post” of my featured article, clicked screen options, checked
excerpt, and put an excerpt in the box. Still no dice. The featured text is not
on my front page anymore and the excerpt isn’t. So I said okay forget it. I undid
my changes. I deleted the excerpt. I changed the reading setting from SUMMARY
to FULL TEXT. I revisit my homepage, there is still no featured article text
   on my home page.

 * > Settings > Reading > And selected For each article in a feed show SUMMARY.
 * That is for RSS or atom feeds.
 * As for the rest, ask this to your theme provider or list theme/add site URL.

 * My theme provider? It’s a WordPress theme, and this is the WordPress support
forum. I just want all my articles to display on the front page and I don’t know
why they have stopped. C’mon support guys, help me out.

 * I am not seeing how that post resolves your issue. I stated what I did as it
was a theme specific issue. Note: The best way to get support here is to be clear,
concise, and [include as much information as possible](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Include_as_much_information_as_possible).
