I have a plugin (iconic) that shows the variable products as single products on the shop page. And your carousel is the only one that recognize them. All other plugins that i tried, show only the parent product, but not their variations.

Are you planning to add featured and on sale products to the carousel?
If the answer is yes, then with the option to choose categories or taxonomies you would have the best products carousel for woocommerce.

Of course we are planning. As for glide.js, we plan to do not only what you are talking about, but also cross-selling and mini-galleries under the main image of the product, and even Gutenberg blocks. It will be possible to display anything and anywhere, even posts, categories and subcategories, post categories. In general, everything will be, but most likely in other plugins.

Let’s discuss it. How do you see the implementation? I see this as a separate plugin with separate settings.

In fact, we take into account the opinions of users, so your opinion is important.

Thank you for taking my ideas in consideration.
I think you should make one single plugin for everything. In my personal experience, I prefer to have everything in the same place rather than downloading multiple plugins.
Your plugin is very well programmed and you will have many downloads if you continue with this excellent support and UI.
I understand, though, that the name of the plugin would become useless in case you add new features to it. So maybe you should consider changing the name or creating a new one with a more universal name, so you can englobe many features inside. And you can advice users to install the new plugin instead. It is a common behavior.
Whatever you need just ask, I’ll be happy to help. I could contact you privately if you want, and we can continue the conversation outside this forum. For testing, and or trying new ideas or whatever. I hope my comment was helpful you!

I understand you. But look on the other hand, for example, a person needs a carousel only for related products, he is not interested in other options, why make such a voluminous mechanism that will hang at idle? He needs something separate. It may just be more confusing for the user. Do not you think that the user will only get confused in the settings with such a plugin?

In addition, it will be more difficult for us to promote such a plugin. It’s easier to make a series of plugins and connect them together. We knowingly made this element.

Sorry for the delay. I understand your point.
The other plugins you showed me in the picture are completely different and are not related to the carousels. In those cases, it would be fine if you don’t put them together, but if you create featured and onsale products carousels, I think they MUST be part of the related/upsells plugin, because they all do the same but in different parts of woocommerce. In that case the user could enable or disable them when needed.

    That’s what I think, as a user.

In fact, I found your plugin because I needed product carousels for my Divi theme. I had to use different plugins from different authors and styled them all, just to make them look the same. If you create a carousel plugin with all the options together, I assure you it will be the best!

So what do you want to see regarding the carousel? Let’s define specific tasks with you, and we will write this on our to-do list.

As for “All in one place”, we’ll think about how to merge and centralize the carousel plug-ins. Perhaps we’ll think about creating a modular system – something is activated, something is deactivated. Here the question is serious, and it is necessary to analyze everything thoroughly.

Sorry for the delay my friend.

Do you have any news on the development of the plugin? I like the idea of having all carousels together in the same plugin as you say. With the enable/disable option for each.

What would you like me to do? Do you have a github for it? How can I contact you outside wordpress forum?
