Feature Suggestion/Request: Private Site Redirect Options

    @foxymcfox

    I’m about to modify this plugin a bit to change the logged out behavior from auth_redirect to wp_redirect so that I can send logged out users to a custom log-in/signup form.

    Would it be possible, in future versions of this plugin, to include an option to choose the default redirect behavior for logged out members? It could be something like:

    “Where would you like logged out users redirected to:

    ( ) The WP Login Screen
    ( ) The WP Registration Screen
    ( ) A Page on this Site
    …..Dropdown List of Pages \/
    ( ) An External Page
    …..[Text Box to Enter URL]”

    Thoughts?

  • +1 from me – I think that’s a great suggestion. It would be very handy for a site I’m building too, which will require organisations to sign up before their members can be added to the site (and to organisation-specific groups)… So the message shown to logged out users will need to reflect this.
