Feature requests: replace media file and rename media

    I really enjoy the categorizing of my media files with Enhanced Media Library, helps med improve my search results in combination with Relevanssi…

    I have two humble feature requests:

    1) It would be awesome, if it was possible to replace existing media (keeping the filename). Say, you update a PDF file with phone numbers. If you upload a new version, you’ll have to replace all the links to it. It would be much easier, if it was possible to replace an existing media file.

    2) Sometimes media gets uploaded with stupid filenames. Photos from cameras for instance. It would be cool, if it was possible to rename the files, automatically replacing the links in posts etc to it and thus improving SEO and manageability.

    Other plugins exists for this, but I prefer keeping the number of plugins to a minimum if at all possible, and these features would be a welcome addition to Enhanced Media Library
