    I think this plugin shows promise, but it’s still got a ways to go.

    I noticed that a user with the ‘UpiCRM User’ role seems to be able to perform all the same actions as the ‘UpiCRM Admin’ role, with the exception of only being able to see his/her own leads. I don’t think that regular users should be able to delete leads or reassign them to someone else. In my tests, I was able to take the lead assigned to me by the Admin and turn around and assign it back to the Admin!

    Also, there doesn’t seem to be any sort of contact history. There should be a record for every change made to a lead, including the date and time, what was changed (status, etc.) and a comment field. For example, a person fills in the contact form on the site; UpiCRM generates a lead and notifies the Admin user, who then assigns it to the appropriate salesperson. When the salesperson has any kind of interaction with the customer, they should be able to log the date/time of the contact along with a brief comment, such as, “Called customer and arranged a time to do a demo.”

    If these features were added, we might be able to use UpiCRM for our business.

    Hi, and many thanks for your post.

    Actually, every feature you just asked for is on our roadmap… already defined and scheduled.

    The users rights we had on plan for last month for a customer but eventually the budget was cancelled.

    The development of lead to customer with activity log and remarks and more – we hope to release in a couple of weeks.
