[Resolved] Feature request: Use embedded/inserted pictures as twitter:image

  • Hi,
we don’t use WordPress’s featured image which means that your plugin doesn’t show anything in twitter:image.
It would be great if you could update the plugin to search for images in posts and use the first one as twitter:image!
Another possibility is to expand the Custom Twitter Card section so it would be possible to assign individual image URL to every post/page.

What do you think about it?

    Thank you!

That sounds weird. If your posts does not have thumbnail or featured image it takes the default image.

But why don’t you use featured image? Twitter:image is meant to show an image that really matches the content.

3.1.5 can solve your problem ^^

    Looks great!

Yet it would be easier for us if the plugin searchs for images in posts automatically and use them as twitter:image.
It’ll be great if you could add something like this!
    Thanks

I understand but it’s hard to know which image you want to select. With an input I’m sure you’ll get what you want as twitter:image.
