Feature request: Time-limited claps

I run a free job page with thousands of job ads, and it would be useful that the claps would time out (perhaps deleted) after a set time to indicate that a job ad is still vacant, like a wake-up call for the post.

I can imagine that this would mean a lot of extra coding, since the meta data (_wp_applaud) stores the number of claps, and not when the last clap happened.

If anyone has a solution for this, I would love to hear from you.
