[Feature request] Separate Payment options in Checkout

    Hi,

    PayPal offers a ton of payment options. Imho it would be nice to separate some payment options in the checkout process. Exspecially the Credit Card Payment

    PayPal for WooCommerce from Angell EYE is offering such an option and this is really nice :):

    Feature – Adds option to display separate Credit Card payment option in checkout page. (PFW-930)

    This would make things to the customer more clear and easier.

    Hi @infonetzlichtcom,

    This feature has always been available in PayPal Payments and is called the PayPal Card Processing.

    When you enable the PayPal Card Processing, the regular black credit card smart button from the PayPal iframe will be replaced with a second gateway that’s exclusively for debit/credit cards.
    This improves the credit card checkout experience and provides your users with the option to save their credit cards for future purchases or subscriptions when you have the Vaulting feature enabled.

    Hm this is showing with my paypal sand box account:

    „ Unfortunately, the card processing option is not yet available in your country.“

    Im located in germany…

    Hi @infonetzlichtcom,

    PayPal does not yet support advanced credit and debit card payments for German merchants. Here is a list of the supported countries/currencies:

    The separated gateway from the PayPal Card Processing can only be used for advanced credit and debit card payments.
    For regular credit card payments, the black credit card smart button in the default iframe would be your only option for now.
    The same thing also applies to the other plugin you mentioned, as this is a limitation from PayPal’s end. But when Germany gets added to the list of countries, then it will also be supported in the plugin as soon as possible.
