# Feature Request: Search Action Hook

 * I’m writing a plug in to replace the standard WordPress search with a more complex(
   natural language) mechanic. Unfortunately, I need to replace the search query,
   as well as returning additional data that can be used by display templates.
 * I’ve gotten as far as I can with manipulating the search term via the “posts_search”
   filter. I’d like to request an actual action hook for search which developers
   could unhook and replace with their own search function, the return being an 
   array of post objects chosen by their own methods. Would this be possible?
