# Feature request: pretty anchor links in Table of Contents block

 * I really enjoy the minimalistic approach to the Getwid block. Thank you for keeping
   it simple and overloading the block editor with a gazillion styling options. 
   In my opinion, that’s really a job for the theme 🙂
 * To my feature request. The Table of Contents block generates a random ID for 
   each heading. Those are not very intuitive, especially not if shown in an email
   or on print.

 * Fortunately, the TOC block picks up custom ID’s added by hand. But it would be
   great, if the TOC block tried to generate a nicer ID by default, based on the
   heading text.
 * So that instead of `href="#71527164a6a4"` the link could be `href="#chapter-name-
   2"`

   I’ve added it to our list of features. Perhaps it will be fulfilled in one of
   the further updates.
