    There is a HTML meta tag called ‘theme-color’ that can be used to change the color of the browser’s menu bar and interface. You simply have to add a single line in the page’s head section:

    <meta name="theme-color" content="#ff6600" />

    Currently it is supported by Chrome, Opera and some mobile browsers:

    Is there any chance, we can integrate an option in OceanWP to set this color in the Customizer? There are simple WordPress plug-ins to set that color or you can add it to your child theme’s code, but a UI option in the Customizer would be nice, too.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your suggestion. I’ll pass your query to the theme author to look into this.

    Hello @actronab, I really want to add only very useful settings in the customizer because more options are added and more it will be slow to load.

    It is very easy to add your code, paste this code into the functions.php file of your child theme:

    function prefix_myfunction() { ?>
    <meta name="theme-color" content="#ff6600" />
    <?php }
    add_action( 'wp_head', 'prefix_myfunction' );
