    Heya Ron!

I have a feature request for a future version of this fantastic plugin. The plugin works great on Multisite networks currently. But it would be more user friendly if the “Permalink” column displayed the active mapped domain instead of the full multisite domain.

Right now, if I have the domain website.com mapped to website.multisitenetwork.com on my network, the permalink column shows this:

    http://website.multisitenetwork.com/go/shortlink/

It would be better for the users if it showed this instead:

    http://website.com/go/shortlink/

To be clear, the shorter (website.com) link works just fine with the current version of the plugin. For me personally it’s no big deal to manually edit the links. However for many of the folks who are using my Multisite network(s) doing so is a bit confusing.

If the plugin could detect a mapped domain and change out the domain in the display it would be a huge plus for Multisite users.

  • Hey Chris, the core team is currently working on rolling DM into core. My guestimate for all of it being there is around version 4.4. I would expect that once it’s rolled in mapped domains will work that way.
