 * “SEO friendly: Disable the h2 heading of the TOC block and add your own.”
 * Hi, this is a great feature, but it would be great if it could be a bit more
scalable : ability to define global variable with the heading title and the html
   element needed (h1 / h2 / h3 / … / p / span / div)
 * Other than that, great plugin !

 * Thanks. The option to remove the heading was the simplest way to tackle the problem.
If I changed the markup of the toc heading it would like a span, p, h3 and so
on because I don’t add CSS. This is SimpleTOC and not AdvancedTOC. I really think
that this is what the plugin is all about. It is not suited for big websites
where you want to boost seo on all pages with a toc. This is for single articles
where a manually added TOC makes sense.

 * Why not create an “advanced version” that you could charge ?
 * For the markup, just a drop down where you can select the tag (span / h3 / etc)
would be perfect. And a text field for the heading too. I don’t think it makes
   it that “advanced”.
 * That’s too bad we are not able to change the heading/tag at scale because other
than that, your plugin is perfect and lightweight as I like.

 * Because I made the plug-in just for myself on the first place and I am happy
if it helps people. There are enough advanced plugins for a Toc out there.
 * But is is really not that easy to just change the markup. What do you think should
a span or h3 heading look like for the user? I had to style that. Currently SimpleTOC
is so simple that it does not even style anything.

 * The problem with other « advanced » plugins is that they load a lot of ressources(
   jquery, additional CSS, etc)

 * Yes because of features like this. In this case you would have to add at least
   some basic css.
