    Hi ASE team,

I’m a freelance WordPress developer and I use ASE on several client sites. Thank you for the great work on it.

I’d like to suggest a feature. On one client site we manage 100+ pages, and we lose a lot of time finding the pages we need to work on in the admin list.

It would be great if ASE could offer a way to organize content in the admin only, similar to what Wicked Folders does:

Virtual folders for Pages and Posts (ideally also CPTs), with drag and drop from the list table, and the option to put one item in several folders
or internal tags/labels that are visible only in the admin (no front-end archive, no URL, not indexable, no impact on sitemaps or SEO plugins)
Filtering the Pages/Posts list by folder or tag in one click

The key point for us is that it must stay purely an admin organization layer, with no effect on the front end, permalinks, page hierarchy or menus. That way we can use it safely on production client sites.

Is this something you would consider adding to ASE, in Free or Pro? I’d be happy to test it or give feedback.

    Thanks
    Sérey

@serey Thank you for the suggestion. May I know a bit more detail on how you ‘organize’ / ‘categorize’ the 100+ pages so they’re more easily findable? Additionally, why not add a custom taxonomy, e.g. “Page Categories”, and use the taxonomy UI from WordPress core for that purpose?
