# Feature Request: Delete post

 * To be able to delete my own forum post.
 * For example, I accidentally posted a question twice (I thought I posted to the
   main forum rather than a plug-in forum so I posted again in the plugin forum).
   In the end I had two posts. Unfortunately, I was not able to delete the duplicate.

 * If you do post twice, you can mark the additional one with the [modlook](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Reporting_Threads)
   tag and a moderator will see it and can delete it for you.
 * Also you can [edit posts for up to 60 minutes after posting](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Deleting_.2F_Editing_Posts),
   so you many want to edit the post to mention that it is a double post, however
   that shouldn’t be necessary as moderators should be able to work out why the 
   modlook tag was added.
