Support » Requests and Feedback » feature request: custom permalink formating

  • I opened another thread where I asked how to do that in the troubleshooting section but no one seems to be able to help and I really couldn’t figure that one out. So I’ll put in a feature request ’cause I think it could be pretty useful to others to.
    feature:
    possibility to choose the character in permalinks that replaces the spaces in post titles.
    example: archives/the-permalink.html becomes: archives/the_permalink.html
    I don’t know how hard the coding would be, but the GUI implementation could just be an input box in the permalink structure panel where you pick the character you want, or a drop down menu if for some reason you need more control over which symbol could be used.

  • I should have clarified…here is what line 100 should look like:
    $name = preg_replace(‘/[^a-z0-9_]/’, ”, $name);
