Feature request : create an event on publication of specific posts

Hi, one feature that would be very useful to me is the addition of a few fields inside the post edit page such as event date, event title (default to post title) and event category that would, when filled up during publishing of a post, create (or update) an event related to that post. This would prevent authors to do that manually, I mean create a post then create an event linking to that post.
