Feature Request: Auto Stock Update

I have a feature request!

Any chance of including some stock control options please?

For example if a customer cancels an order can I choose if the stock level is automatically updated or not?

Sometimes websites are left unattended for days at a time and if a customer cancels an order and the stock level isn’t updated then another customer visits the site the product could appear to be out of stock and a sales opportunity would be lost.

So I know you reason why you dont currently automatically update stock levels.But I would like to be given the choice via a checkbox on the backend to manage my stock myself. i.e. to make the decision myself.
