This is an awesome plugin! It would however be nice if there was an option for the preview to show as a tooltip when hovering over the link. Please implement this if not too much trouble. Thanks.

You want a regular link that shows more information when hovering over it? Do you have an example of a website using that?

Yes, exactly that. Something like they have on the superscript numbered reference links here
