I use Polylang to provide 2 language versions of my content (EN and FR) – I don’t use mulitisite in seperate sub folders, just the polylang mappings.
When testing with a service like “onpage.org” it reports missing pages in the sitemaps e.g. https://XYZ.com/en/… and https://XYZ.com/fr/…
Yes I appreciate that I can create custom XML files, but that kinda defeats one of the benefits of your XML tools. Be useful to have the ability to add in the various language mappings into the main XML maps or maybe even generate seperate xml files per language. However you may feel this is an issue I really need to addresss with Polylang support rather than the Yoast team, if so I’m happy to that. I await for your thoughts on the best approach to intergate these two plugins. Rgds Terry

Some multi-language plugins, for example WPML, divide the Yoast sitemap into sitemaps per language. As this occurs outside of our plugin, please contact the developer or support team from your multi-language plugin for assistance.
