    Hi Toby,

    In answer to your questions:

    1. No, well technically yes if you are good with CSS. Our plugin provides the ability to enter custom admin CSS, and if you very good with CSS you could hide admin columns with it.
    2. Yes, this is a built-in feature.
    3. Yes, this is a built-in feature.

    Thanks,

Hey, I was also looking for the feature

    – hide specific metaboxes on page/ posts/ custom post types edit screen

I wanted to disable the “Astra Settings” Metabox for authors, when they create or edit posts. So I checked both of the “Astra Settings” Boxes in the “Hide Meta” Tab. However when I open a post with an author account, they’re still there even after cache clearing.

Both instances appear under “Elementor Snippet Meta Boxes” and “Elementor Library Meta Boxes”, however the authors don’t use Elementor for writing posts. They just use the Gutenberg Editor. That might be the problem / bug.

Did I do anything wrong or is this a bug with using Elementor and Gutenberg?

    Hi @mediatoni,

There might be something specific with that theme. You can hide this with CSS though. I don’t provide specific code support as part of the plugin, just general setup and advice. However if you get the pro version, in this instance I can provide you with specific code to accomplish this.

    Thanks,
