Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
Thanks for the suggestion, but that still didn’t help at all.
It’s just weird, I haven’t done anything differently and yet it’s still not working.

The problem is that you can insert it in posts but it won’t show up, right?
Do these images need to have a specific size for them to be used in the featured section?

Right. They show up in posts, but not as the feature photo even though I click on “use as feature image”. No error message or anything comes up, and it says it’d save/used. But when you actually go on the site, it’s not there.
I’ve never had to use images of certain size before, and they’re worked fine. Plus, when I try to go back on past posts to see if reapply old feature images as the current one, they don’t work anymore either. It’s like it’s completely stopped using the feature image option all together.
I’m thinking maybe use a new theme, change back, and see if it works?
WOW, I just came to the forum as a last resort. I am having the same problem, it seems. After months of being displayed, a few days back my featured image on my home page is a big white square with the name of the image in it. There are other images on the same page that are still there, but this one image is gone. Any one can help??

Nope. Not that I know of? I’ve never had to worry about it before now?
From what I googled I think your theme has a settings page. You can set it in Appearance > Theme Options > “Featured Category”
Sorry, I didn’t realise what you meant. Yes, I have already set that all up. It seems as though the theme is having some errors I think.
Do you know where I can download it? or is this a paid for theme?
I was trying to find a link for you, but can’t seem to. It’s not paid for, it’s called Structure by Organic Themes, though.
