I recently transitioned my old free site to a self hosted site and kept the same theme. However, now my featured images are showing up twice in the post. Once because I inserted the pic into the post and then second because they are the “featured image”.
I am guessing it has to do with the code in the post.php file, but I don’t know how to fix it. Here is the code I suspect it is in-
<?php if ( current_theme_supports( ‘get-the-image’ ) ) get_the_image( array( ‘meta_key’ => ‘Thumbnail’, ‘size’ => ‘single-thumbnail’, ‘link_to_post’ => false, ‘image_class’ => ‘featured’, ‘attachment’ => false ) ); ?>
Any ideas on how to make it so the post does not also include the “featured image”. I use feature image so it puts a thumbnail I choose on my homepage. I could just delete the original image from the post, but then the image no longer really exists as an image…it is just a featured image with no file associated with it.
The theme is Origin and I can not see any where to select or check mark it out. And it does not say “insert into post” when I use the set featured image function, it just says “set as featured image”. The site is http://www.kalenkimm.com
