• Hello,

So I use the Virtue theme and when I publish a post on my blog post, the feature image + author automatically appears ABOVE the title of the blog. But I would love to change this.

Which stept do I need to take in order to let te feature image be below the blog title???

    Please help 🙂

  • This is something that would require you to use a child theme and edit the files. If you’re not already using a child theme, you can install one from here:

Let me know if this is something that you’re interested in doing, and I’ll do my best to help set it up.

Just a note here. The feature image doesn’t have to auto show up, you can set the post header to whatever you want in the post settings. The thought behind this is if you want the featured image you can add right into the post (which shows below the title) but place it how you want (for example left or right aligned).

With the post options you can set it above your post title as a bonus.

    Thanks Ben,

I don’t want a Featured Image with my blog posts at all. But when I press ‘Remove Featured Image’ it shows up as an empty square on my post page. An empty square with a Pencil Icon in it. Like there should be an image there. But I don’t want a Featured Image at all.

Where can I change this? 🙂
