It is possible to disable the Featured Image on top of single posts in my theme as well, but as you described this will disable the featured image to show on the front page. This of course is unwanted behavior; you’ll want to have the featured image shown on the front page. * Could you make a way to disable showing the image in the Recipe Cards block?
