    Hi,
I need to get an image depending on product configuration. If I check the new checkbox in product editing screen then it should add an image to the product description. Something like badge.
Is there any simple way to accomplish this?
    Thank You in advance,
    M.

    Hi @Majklas,

    I hope you're well today! :)

Sorry, I'm not totally sure I understand, but were you looking to have a sort of image badge per each Variation?

If so, I'm afraid that would require extensive custom code.

But the developers are working on a major update that will provide for multiple variation levels and I suspect multiple images will be taken into account with that.

On the other hand, if you had something else in mind, could you elaborate?

We're here to assist, so please feel free to ask questions as well! :)

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi,
thank You for this quick reply. I'm afraid this is not what I meant..
I need to make separate checkbox in product editing settings (not variations) let's say just after Variations. If you check it, some custom image would appear on product page. I know I must edit backend with meta data, but don't know how..

Hi @Majklas, thanks for your clarification. It sounds like you're trying to create a custom field within the Product editing page, is that correct?

MarketPress doesn't include that as a feature so custom code would be required in that case.

To help simplify that, you could try a custom field plugin like this:
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-field-suite/

And you'll find great documentation for that plugin here:
    https://uproot.us/projects/cfs/documentation/

The only tricky part really is getting the custom field to do something in the front-end. That would usually involve creating a custom template. For that matter, I mentioned in a previous post, this great article explaining how that's done:
    http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/the-easy-guide-to-theming-marketpress/

Perhaps that'll help you get started with it?

Any questions on it, please let us know. We're here to help! :)
