    Great plugin, thank you to the devs!
    One slight issue I am having with managing products is the “Custom notice”, while this works great for a very small store if you have a site with 20+ products it’s a lot of opening and editing if you need to change a custom notice.

    At the moment I am using translate loco to simply edit the default text but this is a bit of a hack.

    If you could allow shortcodes in the custom notice field, we could have much more advanced notices that can be added and then updated from one location via the shortcode. Make that input field a Wysiwyg/text editor field would solve that, but is that a possibility?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I definitely understand that in sites with a big amount of products it can be a time consuming task to manually update custom dependency notices.

    Currently, the Custom Notice field does not support shortcodes. However, if you are looking for a way to bulk update this field, then I suggest to use the WooCommerce core Importer/Exporter tool: https://a.cl.ly/llunrrbJ. The Custom Notice field is stored as a meta data in the exported CSV file: https://a.cl.ly/YEuQLLEY. You may edit its value and import the CSV file back to your site to bulk update your products.

    It does help thanks. Asking my clients to export/import isn’t always possible though. It would be great to have something that could scale a little but I can understand if that isn’t possible.

    I agree that the import/export process is not as user-friendly as it could be! We will definitely consider adding more options to bulk update custom notices in Product Dependencies in the future if we receive more requests about this! 🙂

    Hey Jason, having the input as a wysiwyg feild solves all the issues really. Is there a technical reason this isn’t a good idea?

    Thank you for your insight!

    Adding a WYSIWYG field under the Product Data > Dependencies tab is quite a demanding task as we will need to:

    • come up with a way to display all of the WYSIWYG field options in a location with limited width and also to;
    • restructure our codebase to support a WYSIWYG field input.

    Since this is the first request we receive about this feature, it is not yet a top priority. However, we will definitely consider this feature for a future plugin version if we receive more requests about it! 🙂
