 * On a simple website I built, if I go to my contact page I get a full white page
that says “Feature Disabled” in the upper left-hand corner. I spoke with the
developer, who looked it over and said it didn’t have anything to do with the
theme, and I have also done extensive searching/reviewing but cannot figure it
out. It’s not an “error” per se but it will not show the page itself beyond that
   message.
 * I disabled all the plugins and it still appears. Does anyone have any clue as
to what setting or feature might cause this? I’m at my wit’s end trying to figure
this out! Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 * Does it disappear if you switch to a different theme, like Twenty Twenty One?

 * I just switched to three different themes, including Twenty Twenty One, and it
   still happens the same.

 * And it happens with all plugins deactivated?
 * If so, the only other possibility could be the someone modified the core files,
   which we actively discourage.
 * Try [downloading WordPress](https://wordpress.org/download/) again, access your
   server via [SFTP or FTP](https://wordpress.org/support/article/ftp-clients/),
or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting
provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your
copies of everything on the server **except** the wp-config.php file and the /
wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively
replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings.
 * Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don’t forget
to delete the original files before replacing them.

 * I’ll give this a try and let you know how it goes. Thank you, James. It’s nice
to have someone else suggest directions when I keep yelling at myself for being
   out of ideas lol
