    I am running Freesoul Deactivate Plugins version 2.1.9 on WordPress 6.4.2. With FDP active as the ONLY active plugin on a default WordPress theme, any time I click any link within the WordPress Admin dashboard, it causes the dashboard page I’m viewing to “jump” or snap back up to the top of the current page before loading the next page in the browser. As soon as I deactivate FDP, the issue goes away. I am not disabling any Backend items in FDP. On my live site, the issue is very noticeable because there is a delay while the next page loads. I can provide access to a staging site where you can see and test out the backend issue (the issue is less noticeable on the staging site since only only plugin is active). Please provide instructions on how to privately provide you with the login details. Thank you.

    Hi @midihead, @popi0

    Thank you for reporting this issue.
    Strange because I’m not able to reproduce it.
    However, since v. 2.1.8, FDP has been loading its JS also on other backend pages. This wasn’t on purpose and will be solved with version v. 2.2.0 which will be published soon.

    So even though I wasn’t able to reproduce the same issue, not loading any more its JS on other backend pages the issue that you reported will be very probably solved with version 2.2.0.

    Take into account the new version will be available in 2-3 days.

    Have a great day!

    I have the same problem. It’s so annoying that I needed to re-install my WP 10 times until I figured out which plugin was causing the problem. I was not expecting this plugin to cause this problem.

    Hi @midihead.

    I performed many tests, but strangely I don’t have the same issue.
    If you have no sensitive information on your staging installation, and it’s not a problem to provide me with the login information, you can write me through the contact form at https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/contact/

    @pleasure94 I was not expecting FDP to cause this kind of problem either.

    I suspect the issue has something to do with the size of the screen and the browser.

    Sending me your browser information with the same contact form can help me with the problem-solving.

    @giuse,

    The jumping happens only if you first scroll down on the main content on the right side of the admin page itself (not the sidebar) and then click any link on the page. If you scroll first and then click a link, you’ll see the jumping.  I’m sorry that I missed clarifying this previously.

    Hi @midihead,

    thank you for the clarification. Please, check it with the beta version 2.2.0.beta-2 as suggested in my last email, and let me know if it works now.

    Have a great day!

    @giuse,

    Yes, the beta version appears to have corrected the issue. I no longer see the page jumping happening on my staging site admin pages. Thanks!

    Hi @popi0, @pleasure94

    if you have a staging environment can you please try the new beta version 2.2.0.beta-2 that you can download from here?: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/freesoul-deactivate-plugins.2.2.0.beta-2.zip

    It fixes the issue for me. Please, let me know if it works also for you.

    If you have no staging environment take into account the new official version still needs a couple of days before publication.

    Have a great day!

    Thank you for the confirmation @midihead!

    The official version still needs some tests before the publication but it will be published soon.

    @giuse I also give you access to my website (if you still need tests).
    Thanks for the great support!

    @giuse,

    Do you have an updated estimate on when version 2.2.0 will be released? Thanks!

    Jeff

    Looking forward to the public release of this update 👍 Can confirm this is happening on 3 of the websites I manage.

    I am having this issue as well, looking forward to the 2.2.0 release!

    Really like this plugin btw, it has made a huge improvement with my site speed and is easy to use. Thanks so much!
