FB stopped showing posts (again)

    Howdy,
    the plugin stopped showing FB feeds – again, because a similar problem occured 2 months ago.
    Error message:
    Unable to display Facebook posts.
    Error: Error validating access token: Session has expired on Friday, 15-Mar-19 10:33:17 PDT. The current time is Tuesday, 26-Mar-19 03:42:06 PDT.
    Type: OAuthException
    Code: 190
    Subcode: 463

    No outdated plugins, all up-to-date, disabling cache no results, did use ‘clear cache and save’ couple of times (in conjunction with normal caching plugin). Asked site owner to do the authentication for access token again, no results. FAQ section on your site did not show this exact code/subcode, tried some of the solutions but to no avail.

    Hey Espace66,

    The error message does indicate the source of the issue being an expired access token. Another indication of this is the fact that it happened two months ago which leads me to believe that the type of access token being used is a Page access token for events which Facebook does automatically expire every 60 days rather than the general access token that can be obtained through the plugin itself.

    However, due to the sensitive nature of access tokens and this being a public forum can I have you submit a support ticket for this issue on our support page here. This will protect the privacy of the site owner’s access token. Thank you.
