FB id g prefix

With the recent changes in the latest plugin update to the id ‘g’ prefix in the Facebook feed, does this mean we need to create a new Facebook feed for upload? I found my feed was working correctly before the latest plugin update but this morning when refreshing the upload in Facebook, it just stays lagging in upload phase.

Hi @dwoott ,

The removal of g: was introduced as some user reported that the Facebook feed isn’t being accepted as it’s using Google’s syntax.

Try creating a new template and pass it to Google. If that don’t work, you can always revert back by creating a Google Feed Template and passing off the URL to Facebook.

Hi @superlemon1998,

I have created a new Facebook feed using the Facebook Feed template, and it has uploaded successfully into Meta Commerce Manager. However, filters I have set for some items to be excluded appear in the feed. I am using the latest plugin update.

Hi @superlemon1998

I am happy to say the exclude filters are now working in Meta. It turns out the incorrect Feed was entered into Meta Commerce Manager, this has now been amended, and items are being excluded as expected in Meta.
