favorite posts plugin (complete with profile page) (3 posts)

To my chagrin, I started working on a favorite posts plugin that IS for registered users only.

This will eventually include a profile page for members that allows for quick viewing of favorites.

Progress on this, is, well progressing. We have more or less, completed the front end, minus some tweaking of the actual display, and I'm hoping to start work on the profile page output later today.

This is a pretty large endeavor for me, and I'm hoping to solicit some beta testers (even now, for the uncompleted stuff).

Im working on this with a vanilla install of 2.3.2 with PHP4, so I am looking for someone that is sure that they are using PHP5. Your theme makes no difference.

Understand that this is not complete yet and any tester(s) will only be able to set and unset the favorites via the actual links -- not via the profile page. (Yet)

Well, work is progressing. Ive started on the admin/profile page. Here is a screenshot, so far. Eventually, the category of the post will be listed there as well, and everything will be linked. And, obviously, there will be a way to remove favorites from that page, as well.

I am also still looking for someone that knows they are using PHP5 to be a beta tester-- so far all the responses Ive gotten have been from PHP4 people.

I love this idea and I'd love to beta for you. According to my server management company I'm on PHP 5.x. They upgraded me to that in March so I could fiddle with MediaWiki.

I can do a fresh install of WP 2.3.3 to test this or just use it on the beta of 2.5 that I have going. If you'd like my help please just let me know.
