Favicon won't work in Chrome

    The favicon for my website won’t show up in the URL bar in chrome. It’s strange because it shows up on the tab, just not URL bar, and it only seems to be happening in chrome. The favicon works fine in internet explorer.

    I can’t seem to figure out the problem. Can someone help?

    Maybe this was a change in Chrome? None of the sites I visit (WordPress and non-WordPress alike) have icons showing in the URL bar; they are only displayed on the tab.

    If you post a link to your site we could take a look the code for the icon.
