  • Favicon displays normaly.

    Thanks for checking! What browser are you using? I just noticed they do appear in Safari, but not in Firefox. (Now on Firefox, the home page isn’t even showing the right one—it just shows my hosting company’s favicon. There’s still no favicon on any of the sub pages.)

    You need to use the absolute path to the favicon in your code.

    Replace:
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >
    With:
    <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://kcadp.org/favicon.ico" >

    Thanks Shane. I made that change in the header file, but it still doesn’t appear. Might it take some time for the server or cache to refresh?

    Thanks again!

    It’s fixed on my end now 🙂

    Go make yourself a congratulatory hot beverage while the browser resets your cache.

    Thanks! Had a hot beverage—and cleared Firefox’s cache—but it still shows my hosting company’s favicon for every page.

    Favicons are weird things. Even after 10 years as a professional developer, I’ve never been able to pin down how the various browsers “cache” favicons. It’s definitely not part of the main cache in the popular browsers. All I can say is that, if you wait 2 or 3 days, the new favicon will “mysteriously” appear.
